In Ciao Dott. Chacot, I choose several video clips from my personal library to freely approach La Salpêtrière, the French Fin de siècle famous clinic for indigents, epileptics, and mentally deranged, mainly women. Directed by Dr. Jean-Martin Charcot from 1862 to 1893.
